ASIDZI Privacy Policy
Version 2.0 · Effective date: October 19, 2026
This policy explains how ASIDZI, operated by Erix Corporation in Togo, handles personal data when providing its West African marketplaces. Contact contact@asidzi.com for privacy questions or requests. Acknowledging this policy is not consent to optional marketing or unrelated processing.
1. Information we handle
Account information: names, email addresses, phone and WhatsApp numbers, profile photos, country, region and store details you provide. Google or X sign-in provides account identifiers and profile information permitted by that provider, not your provider password.
Listings and interactions: ad text, images, prices, contact details, reviews, favorites, saved searches, reports and support requests.
Messages: in-platform message content, sender and recipient identifiers, associated listing references, timestamps and delivery or read status. WhatsApp, SMS and phone conversations happen outside ASIDZI under those services’ policies.
Payment and verification information: purchase requests, selected products, amounts, payment references or evidence submitted, approval decisions and benefit history. Identity or business documents may be collected when verification is requested. Do not submit passwords, PINs or unrelated sensitive information.
Technical and location information: available IP addresses, browser and device information, session and security logs and service interactions. Network location may suggest a country. Precise browser location is requested through device permission controls when you choose to use it; country selection is also available manually.
Agreement records: account ID, accepted document version and content fingerprint, server timestamp, interface language, application version, browser identifier and trusted network IP address when available. Acceptance is recorded from an explicit agreement action, not inferred from browsing.
2. Purposes and legal bases
We use information to authenticate users, operate marketplaces, publish listings, deliver messages, administer purchases and benefits, provide support, investigate reports, protect accounts and keep agreement records. Analytics, where enabled, help assess service performance.
Depending on the purpose and applicable law, processing may rely on performance of the user agreement, a legal obligation, a legitimate operational or safety interest where permitted, or consent where required. Terms acceptance does not replace consent needed for optional tracking, marketing or unrelated processing. Consent may be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.
3. Public information and sharing
Listings, public seller profiles, published reviews and contact details you choose to publish may be visible to other users, search engines and the public. Messages are shared with intended participants, rather than published as listings.
Service providers may process information for hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, communications, payment and security. Providers include Supabase and Vercel, and Google services where enabled. External sign-in, map, translation, video and messaging services have their own privacy practices.
Relevant records may be disclosed to competent authorities where legally required, in response to lawful requests, or where lawfully necessary to investigate fraud, protect safety or defend legal rights. A business transfer may require a controlled transfer of relevant records, subject to applicable law.
4. Staff access to private messages
Authorized staff may access relevant conversations when a participant reports a problem or requests help, to respond to a lawful authority request, or where necessary to investigate fraud, protect safety or secure the Platform. Access should be limited to the purpose concerned. We do not promise routine monitoring, guaranteed scam detection or end-to-end encryption.
5. Retention and deletion
Account data, listings and messages are stored while needed to provide the service. Messages may remain visible to the other participant when one participant removes a conversation or leaves. Removing a conversation from your view does not necessarily erase every copy.
Support, fraud, verification, payment and agreement records may need to be kept longer for disputes, legal obligations or legal rights. Retention depends on the record and applicable law. We do not promise an automatic deletion schedule that the service does not implement. Backups may persist until replaced through provider backup processes. Contact us to request deletion or ask which retention applies to your information.
6. Cookies, analytics and permissions
Essential cookies maintain sessions and remember country and language. Analytics or similar technologies may be used where enabled and lawfully permitted. Device permission and browser cookie controls limit certain processing; blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in. Optional processing requiring consent must be handled separately from Terms acceptance.
7. Security and international processing
We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards. No service or transmission is completely secure. Keep credentials private and report suspected unauthorized access.
Providers may store or process information outside your country. Applicable international transfer requirements and safeguards must be observed. Contact us for information about the providers and processing locations relevant to your account.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, withdraw consent for consent-based processing, and complain to the competent data protection authority. We may verify your identity before acting.
Use account settings or the account deletion page, or email contact@asidzi.com. Some data may need to be retained where legally permitted or required; we will explain relevant limitations. You can contact support and request account deletion without accepting a new agreement.
9. Age and updates
Accounts are intended for people aged 18 or older, or the age of majority in their country if higher. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
Updates carry a fixed version and effective date. We provide notice of material changes as appropriate and may require new explicit agreement. Read this policy with the Terms of Service and Data Collection notice.
